Steven Winter Associates led the project team through the LEED certification process from plan review to verification and, eventually, certification with USGBC. SWA completed ASHRAE 90.1 energy modeling and identified opportunities for savings through improved lighting and controls, more efficient ventilation systems and better insulation. Through on-site performance tests, SWA helped to significantly reduce duct leakage and worked closely with the team to reduce oversizing of the mechanical systems to enhance comfort and improve efficiency.

The Lauren features ENERGY STAR appliances, WaterSense fixtures, environmentally preferred materials, and sustainable landscape measures to enhance energy and water savings and improve indoor air quality.
