Building Science Before It Was Building Science

Course Description:
In the twenty-first century, Building Science is a firmly established concept and plays an important role in the practice of architecture. In its modern definition, Building Science is the collection of scientific knowledge and experience that focuses on the analysis and control of the physical aspects affecting buildings. But are you aware that the essence of Building Science dates back to thousands of years to the principles of Vaastu Saastra and Feng Shui? This session will explore elements of these two ancient practices and how they relate to Building Science as we know it today.
