Róisín has over 16 years of experience as an HR professional. Róisín has a wealth of experience setting up, developing and expanding HR teams in various industries from Consulting Engineering, Marketing, and Advertising. She has worked for national and international firms which range in scale from small to mid-sized, and from privately owned to publicly traded organizations. Roisin also speaks three languages!

Prior to joining Steven Winter Associates, Róisín was the North American HR Officer at Buro Happold. She supported the growth of the region in talent acquisition and retention during a period of significant recruitment, expanding the firm from sixty people in one office to over 150 people spread across five different offices. Róisín participated in the monthly management meetings and frequently represented HR at the North American Board. Róisín then dipped her toe into the Experience Design world for a small start up called Hot Studio before it was acquihired by Facebook. This led Róisín into Marketing and Advertising at Greater than One and Kinetic Worldwide Inc. (a WPP owned company).

Róisín joined Steven Winter Associates in February 2016 and leads the firm’s HR department. She has shaped the firm by building processes to improve recruitment, on-boarding, benefits administration, payroll, performance management, immigration, coaching for staff and management, and employee training and development. Róisín was part of the steering committee that developed our Company Principles, and she is an active champion of these principles. She has a great ability to look at people issues individually and evaluate them to identify trends company-wide. Róisín is also part of SWA’s COVID response team.
