Local Law 87 & Local Law 88 Information Session

Course Description: All buildings in NYC over 50,000 SF are required by Local Law 87 to conduct an energy audit and retro-commissioning study every 10 years and submit a report to the NYC Department of Buildings documenting the results. Buildings that do not comply face fines of $3,000-5,000 per year they are out of compliance.

Local Law 88 requires large non-residential buildings to upgrade lighting to meet current NYC Energy Conservation Code standards, and to install electrical sub-meters for each large non-residential tenant space and provide monthly energy statements.

Steven Winter Associates (SWA) and the Urban Green Council co-host this free two-part webinar to understand your compliance responsibilities for Local Law 87 & 88, and how to get the most value from doing the work. The presentation will provide property owners and managers with step-by-step instructions on how to comply and guidance for directing staff or consultants.
