Event Description:

As the demand for innovation and sustainability in the building sector is growing, a more prevalent emphasis is now placed on a holistic approach to superior building design; the Living Building Challenge – a green building certification standard – offers builders and designers a path toward achieving this level of holistic design. This presentation will cover the basics of the Living Building Challenge standard, discuss how it is unique to other building certifications, and will dive into how a project in Connecticut is going through this unique certification process.
