Gayathri Vijayakumar is the Director of Residential Energy Services at SWA. For over a decade, Ms. Vijayakumar has specialized in evaluating residential and multifamily buildings with an emphasis on high-performance construction and renewable energy systems. Ms. Vijayakumar and her team provide technical assistance to sustainability projects by performing energy modeling and conducting analyses of costs and benefits of energy efficient measures in both new and existing residential construction. Using her knowledge of state and utility sponsored incentives and financing (e.g., Connecticut’s Green Bank and EnergizeCT), she assists projects in obtaining loans and incentives associated with energy efficiency and renewable systems. Ms. Vijayakumar is an active contributor to various technical committees that share a goal of improving codes and standards.
