Improving the Built Environment through Research, Design, and Technology

Course Descriptions

An important part of SWA's work involves technology transfer through training via workshops, seminars, and classes. Many of these are provided under contract with specific builders, home-building associations, and trade associations. Subjects range over all aspects of building construction, but typically are focused on energy conservation, green and sustainable building, improved construction practices, accessibility, and whole-building design techniques.

A link to the course description of each of the courses we currently offer is listed below. We are continually adding courses and will provide customized courses upon request.
