Wicomico County Housing Authority, Salisbury, MD
SWA serves as an accessibility consultant to the Wicomico County Housing Authority in Salisbury, Maryland, retained to help the Authority comply with the requirements of its Voluntary Compliance Agreement (VCA) with HUD. SWA has conducted an accessibility review of preliminary plans developed by an independent architect to assess regulatory compliance. Upon successful completion of construction, SWA will provide written confirmation of compliance.
As part of Phase II of thisproject, SWA will conduct field inspections of existing construction and will identify accessibility violations in units, common areas, and sites, which must be modified to achieve the requirements of its VCA. SWA will provide accessibility consulting to the Wicomico County Housing Authority and the independent architect through construction close-out. Upon successful completion of construction, SWA will provide written confirmation of compliance.
