SWA serves the Bridgeport Housing Authority, Bridgeport, CT as its accessibility consultant retained to help the Authority comply with the requirements of its Voluntary Compliance Agreement (VCA) with HUD.
SWA inspected Bridgeport Housing Authority’s entire inventory of dwelling units and associated common areas and sites slated for accessibility renovations and identified violations of the Fair Housing Amendments Act, Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973, and, where applicable, the Americans with Disabilities Act.
SWA provides full architectural design services to the Bridgeport Housing Authority; it produces construction documents for the renovation of all units, common areas, and sites. SWA provides construction administration throughout the duration of the construction process.
