SWA has worked with buildings around the country to find practical, regional, and simple solutions for making existing buildings greener and more sustainable. Focusing first on energy and water efficiency, SWA has done extensive national research on benchmarking of existing buildings. Our approach is unique in the country: 1) SWA finds out how much energy and water your building is using; 2) we compare it to similar buildings; 3) we work to reduce usage in all areas cost effectively; 4) suggest changes to “green” your cleaning, painting, and other maintenance practices and 5) train you and your staff to incorporate these changes building-wide.
