Project Example: On-site Technical Assistance for Rural Housing
Rural/Affordable Housing & Construction Projects
SWA has provided on-site technical assistance to rural communities to guide housing agencies through the procurement and construction phases, beginning with the Request for Proposal through design and construction to delivery. Specific projects include senior housing and community buildings.
SWA has also developed and delivered training workshops across the US teaching “Construction Contracting” and “Procurement” under contract to HUD’s Office of Native American Programs. The training series capitalizes on SWA’s longtime commitment to affordable housing as well as the firm’s hands-on knowledge of the entire design and construction process.
