SWA Welcomes New Accessibility Specialists

SWA’s Accessibility Team is proud to announce the recent addition of four new Accessibility Specialists to help support its continuing growth.

chevalierKatie Chevalier, AIA LEED AP BD+C graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Architecture from the University at Buffalo and a Masters of Architecture from the University of Colorado at Denver. Katie is a LEED Accredited Professional and will draw upon her interests in accessibility, sustainability, education, and universal design to help advance the team’s portfolio. Katie work’s in the firm’s Norwalk, CT office.

David Mike graduated with a degree in Architectural Engineering Technology from the University of Hartford. David’s past experience as a designer and project manager is a critical asset to our fast-growing team. David will focus mainly on the team’s commercial portfolio and is based in the firm’s New York City office.

 

ortizAlisa Ortiz graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Puerto Rico – Mayaguez, and a Masters in Urban Planning from the University of Puerto Rico – Rio Piedras. Alisa is interested in creating accessible mixed-use built environments, and will further cultivate these interests with SWA. Alisa will focus mainly on the team’s residential portfolio and is based in the firm’s New York City office.

Kayla Doshier graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Geography and Planning from Grand Valley State University in Michigan and a Masters in Urban and Regional Planning from Michigan State University.  Kayla brings experience in community engagement, community outreach, and urban planning. She focuses mainly on the team’s commercial portfolio and is based in the firm’s New York City office.
