Partner Programs with Utilities
With the help of several innovative utility-sponsored energy incentive programs, SWA can come at a reduced cost to our clients. We participate in these programs in order to direct our clients to funding that supports their pursuit of high performance and increases their return on investment.
Con Edison Commercial and Industrial Energy Efficiency Program
SWA is an approved Market Partner in Con Edison’s Commercial and Industrial program. Commercial, industrial, and multifamily customers may qualify for rebates on equipment upgrades, performance-based custom incentives, and co-funded energy audits/efficiency technical studies.
Pre-approved projects are eligible for 50% co-funding for Level III energy audits, up to $67,000. Post-audit, customers can apply for rebates toward energy efficient capital upgrades. Post-implementation, customers can apply for performance-based incentives that are determined based on first year projections.
Long Island Power Authority (LIPA) Commercial Efficiency Program
SWA is a Technical Assistance provider in the LIPA Commercial Efficiency Program. We work with new buildings to develop lower operating costs and increased efficiency savings. The Program supports LEED® certification, energy modeling, energy consulting and compliance. Improvements can be reimbursed for using SWA’s services, becoming LEED certified, and pursuing other energy efficiency projects that result in lower electric bills. All buildings in LIPA’s service area are eligible, including commercial, industrial, government, and educational facilities.
Pepco Commercial & Industrial (C&I) Energy Savings Program
SWA is a Trade Ally in Pepco’s C&I Program. The Pepco C&I Energy Savings Program is designed to support energy efficiency projects in new and existing buildings in Maryland. The program provides rebates for the purchase and installation of specific energy efficiency upgrades that make a building more efficient by reducing electric costs.
Connecticut Light & Power (CL&P) Residential New Construction Program – Home Energy Rating System (HERS) Raters
For certain CL&P programs, SWA engineers provide residential energy services at low or no cost to owners. With support from the Connecticut Energy Efficiency Fund.
Connecticut Utilities – Commercial & Industrial Incentives
All electricity providers in Connecticut offer a variety of services and rebates for commercial building upgrades. SWA works with building owners to perform energy audits, modeling, and design in order to implement energy efficient upgrades that incorporate incentive funding and financing alternatives. With support from the Connecticut Energy Efficiency Fund.
Public Service Electric and Gas Company (PSE&G) Residential Multifamily Housing Program
In 2010, PSE&G launched the Residential Multifamily Housing Program to help multifamily buildings in New Jersey reduce their energy consumption and carbon emissions.
For buildings accepted into the program, PSE&G covers the cost of an audit, and provides funding to help implement the cost-effective energy efficiency measures identified. SWA has teamed up with MaGrann Associates to provide investment grade audits of several properties, and also to supply full design drawings and specifications, construction administration services, and commissioning for all implemented measures.
