Sustainability Consulting for Municipal Governments

SWA has worked with towns in New Jersey under New Jersey Clean Energy’s Local Government Energy Audit program (learn more about SWA’s Energy Auditing ), with towns throughout Connecticut and New Jersey on city Energy Plans; and with the City of Newark on a comprehensive Sustainability Action Plan that examines water, waste, greenhouse gas emissions, energy, and public health. Members of the SWA team also participated in the recent development and release of Mayor Bloomberg’s PlaNYC Greener, Greater Buildings Plan—a set of local laws that comprehensively mandate baseline energy efficiency efforts toward the greening of New York City.
