We are currently seeking a qualified professional to provide sustainability consulting support on commercial building construction. The ideal candidate will work on a wide range of projects (hospitality, schools, multifamily, commercial, office, retail, etc.).
Specifically, the candidate will support SWA staff to:
- Coordinate the green building design and LEED documentation process as well as project specifications, calculations, plans and submittal review for LEED compliance.
- Perform area takeoff calculation using AutoCAD.
- Coordinate with/support subcontractors including MEP and civil engineers.
- Conduct product and technology research related to sustainability.
Minimum requirements:
- Must have a BA in Architecture or Environmental Engineering.
- One year experience with Indoor Air Quality Testing, Construction Management or Environmental Site Assessments.
- LEED AP, BD +C accreditation required.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong time management, organizational & research skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as closely with staff on multiple client project teams.
