Dianne Griffiths is the Executive VP at Steven Winter Associates, Inc., managing residential research activities. Ms. Griffiths is a licensed Professional Engineer with over twenty-five years experience in evaluating residential, commercial, and industrial energy systems with specific emphasis on energy efficiency and HVAC systems.

Ms. Griffiths’ wide range of expertise includes energy modeling and analysis, product development, laboratory testing, new technology field testing and demonstration, mechanical and renewable energy engineering design, and energy savings measurement and verification.

Ms. Griffiths currently manages an engineering group that provides a variety of engineering services to the building industry including: energy modeling, HVAC distribution system design, renewable system design, equipment specification, construction training, field monitoring, and system performance evaluation. A major project for the group is a multi-year, multimillion contract with the U.S. Department of Energy’s Building America Program. SWA leads the Consortium for Advanced Residential Buildings (CARB); Ms. Griffiths is responsible for CARB client reporting and contract administration, as well as the technical management of program activities. Other major project clients have included the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development, Northeast Utilities/ Connecticut Light & Power, and New York State Energy Research and Development Authority.
